‘Exploring New Composers’ Festival round-up, Part 2, Saturday, May 12

Greetings All,

Here (finally) is the second installment of the Exploring New Composers Festival round-up, which took place on Saturday, May 12, at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, and featured the remaining Con Edison/Exploring the Metropolis Composers-in-Residence.

This concert featured my music. I performed my piece Three Graces for Clarinet Solo and then was joined by Alexandra Honigberg, viola, and Jed Distler, piano for a performance of my work Autumn Yearning. The concert also featured a piece for bass clarinet by Joshua Green and some stunningly beautiful chamber music by Danielle Eva Schwob that for me evoked the essence of Debussy.
